Thank you everyone for sharing your replies. When I was studying with Bob Brozman. He would say that rhythm and tone were the most important elements. Here is a great example. The beauty comes in with the use of polyrhythms. The finger percussion, bass line and vocals are have their own unique part. It is actually more complex that it appears. He has a great sense of timing and it comes off sounding so effortless. There is great power in clearity. Dig this: http://youtu.be/Zn7YtjO6Mqc and http://www.bobbrozman.com/tip_rhythm.html Enjoy.

Not only one string but also just three notes (open, third and fifth fret). Talk about making the most. Fantastic.

Sheee~it!  I like that dude and his music.  That one string wonder beats the heck out of a lot of pros with high $ equipment.  Amazing.

Thanks Keni Lee.

Fun with Rhythm! Three lines of music; finger percussion, bass string, and vocals equals one funky groove! Enjoy
