Good point Dennis!  Working with c#merle is always my pleasure, he’s a very creative and talented guy. Thanks again!

It’s a beautiful song AGP, I always would hum to it when I heard it, and it’s a melody that would stick around in the head for a while for sure! Merle got me going in the perfect key singing with his great bagpipes! Set a good tone the rest of the way. The video was the hard part, couldn’t get out of the gate. Then I saw this vintage film about Blacks moving from the southeast to Oklahoma for opportunities, oil!  Many all Black communities popped up all over Oklahoma, some successful, others not so much. This song represents hope and spirituality and forgiveness, so that got me going! Thanks for the nice comments AGP!

Very much appreciated A.D! Your input is always positive and very inspiring! Merle laid down that glockenspiel and drone sound in the second half of the song, it took all my restraint not to take off on the Witch! Thank you A.D!

Uncle, John in this case, Merle plays the official CBBagpipes and CBGlockenspiel! Uncle Burt is my last living relative! He’s 92 years old and just getting out of the hospital, asked if I’d play this song. But here at the Nation, your the only Uncle! I have never played with bagpipes and a glockenspiel like everyone else, first time for everything! C#merle sent me this great song, ready made for Amazing Grace. I tried singing it in a kilt and the Pawn Shop T-shirt, but there was a cold wind blowing off the ocean and I was singing higher than tenor! Thanks so much for the compliment, your the best UJ!

Loved this.  Best song ever in my opinion.  Very good bagpipes and vocals.   Pretty neat accompanying video.   Uncle Burt!   Ah, I think I recognize the glockenspiel too, nice.

Dennis, sorry, that’s my terrible sense of humor! I like suck you in, I’d use that myself. I was just kidding, you know us sensitive touchy musicians, I saw the word suck...haha! Your comments were beautiful, I’m just an old crusty who thinks he’s a comedian. These days I believe sucks means good, and  bad means real good ha! Thanks Dennis!
