You know the Blues

You know, the blues is something that's hard to get acquainted with. It's just like death. Now, I tell you about the blues. The blues dwells with you every day and everywhere. See, you can have the blues about that you're broke. You can have the blues about your girl is gone. The blues comes so many different ways until it's kind of hard to explain. But whenever you get a sad feeling, you can tell the whole round world you got nothing but the blues.

  • True Wes. However times change. And Ill be the first to say that if I woke up to find my Silverado gone...Id be feeling a little blue
  • To me the Blues is our way of putting our lives into perspective. Our way of sorting out what is or isnt important in life. The blues is the start of a new begining. You feel the blues when you lose the things you hold dear to you, you loved one, your job, your TRUCK! But then you get the opportunity to get it all back, a younger and hotter girlfriend, a better paying job, and a brand new TRUCK!
  • An old song says the blues is just a good man feeling low. Blues music helps us see the condition and smile with it. For me the blues and Gospel are closely related and intertwined. Two sides of our soul. In Gosel we may cry out, 'Oh, Lord' and in the blues we cry out, 'Oh momma," or maybe, 'Oh crap and more crap.'
