A custom build jumps over my "centenial" WS # 200....
Wichita Sam # 201
Its a fretted three stringer, fancy headstock, vintage (looking) tuners, maple neck, mahogany fretboard.
Nice little design feature with soundholes in the neck end of the box, a mahogany bridge with brass bar saddle, gold tone volume knob and a hand cut trapeze string termination...

Serial connection was what I tried first, worked, so ..... no problem to try the other way, I'm just not an electric junkie, so left good enough alone....

So one thing you mentioned is serial connection ( +---(+/-)---(+/-)--- -). I found a section in Google Books (Getting a Bigger Sound: Pickups and Microphones for Your Musical Instrument By Bart Hopkin pp53 that talks about connecting them in parallel. Didn't know if you tried that? Seems he's saying that piezos are very high impedence and serial connections sum that impedence whereby parallel divides the impedence. I might try that.
Anyhow, I'll let you know.
Gracias!

Tons better than just gluing a single piezo under the box top and makes for an otherwise simple install....
