  • Well, music does make our lives better.  I was counting my blessings this morning and music was one of them.  Now that I think about it, music friends should be on that blessing list too.

I wanted to shout out on something just a bit ago and will do it here.   I've had some hand problems of late and today was the first time I played at length in over a month.   What a joy to be playing even through an occasional bit of pain!

I played about 15 songs on CBG using a slide.   Having been away for a while - I was really feeling the music and have never played slide as expressively as I did this morning.   I hope I can do it again.   I wish I could bottle it up..

As I played, I was thinking about playing out- playing for others.  Screw em!  LOL.  For the most part, we play best when we play for ourselves and play with  heart, feeling and emotion.   When we do that, we usually please others more as well.   I wish I could bottle that up and keep it too.

Glenn Watt.  I did not find what Spence is speaking of, but I've seen that Glenn tends to play, speak and live with heart and kindness.

    Spences's Rye.  Good music.
