Finished my first instrumental-only rock album with lots of cigar box instrument tracks (about 70 % of all guitar/bass recordings): "RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIAL" - Listen here:
Great stuff Thorsten. I'm loving listening to this, there's a great collection of diverse styles and moods. Some of it reminds me of an Ennio Morricone remix album I've got, but uniquely its own.
I'd love to try and do a Morricone / spaghetti western inspired CBN album. I'll have to dig out my trumpet and get practicing.
doing instrumentals is very difficult, harder than doing songs with lyrics as there has to be plenty of strong phrases and riffs in there to keep the listener's attention!
some interesting music there Thorsten - I used to mess around with electronic music but not for some years, thinking of experimenting using a Mellotron soon if I can find a suitable song... :-)
