Hi all,
Thought I'd join in the fray after a friend recommended CBN to me. I've had a longtime interest in musical instrument construction and have been engaged in building for something in the neighborhood of 30 years. I've done various types of guitars, a few Cajun accordions, various kalimbas, a few wood flutes, and banjos in the past, but mostly banjos at present. I do like to do the occasional fun project and I'm finishing up a nylon-strung three string short scale acoustic guitar that's designed to be made by someone who might wish to progress beyond the level of a rank beginner.
I'll be doing a dedicated webpage for it on my website here:
More later, I'll have to throw up some pics!

Welcome to the Nation, Randy. I saw your video of the baritone ukulele conversion to a mandolin-ish guitar. I have a 1950 Regal baritone uke, and think its a good candidate for a make over. Thanks for the inspiration.

Welcome Randy! It would be great to see some photos. I wouldn't even know where to start on a Cajun accordian.
