Zenith/Geiger Pot Lid Reso "Southern Comfort"

Called this one "Southern Comfort" as it just kind of sounds like it's from down South. Antique enamel slosh pot lid reso, tin can reso holes, 27 1/4" scale, Geiger Electric yardstick out of York, Nebraska fretboard, oak neck w/ cherry heel, burnt fret markers, walnut fret dots, bass pup pickup w/ black chrome skull volume knob, chrome skull tuners, antique skeleton key saddle w/ yardstick bridge, old square barn nail for the nut. She's saddled up with heavy Blues Breaker strings tuned DAD.

  • This Reso belongs to Justin Johnson now and he uses it in his new Christmas CD "Justin Johnson / Roots Christmas" on the song "Silent Night". Check the new CD out here: http://www.reverbnation.com/store/view_item_album/artist_916475?ite...

Justin and Nikki play a variety of instruments built by some of the talented builders I have admired and looked up to for a long time. A great Honor to be a small part of such a wonderful project!
