Zenith/Geiger Pot Lid Reso "Southern Comfort"

Called this one "Southern Comfort" as it just kind of sounds like it's from down South. Antique enamel slosh pot lid reso, tin can reso holes, 27 1/4" scale, Geiger Electric yardstick out of York, Nebraska fretboard, oak neck w/ cherry heel, burnt fret markers, walnut fret dots, bass pup pickup w/ black chrome skull volume knob, chrome skull tuners, antique skeleton key saddle w/ yardstick bridge, old square barn nail for the nut. She's saddled up with heavy Blues Breaker strings tuned DAD.

  • Thank you Dave!

  • Has cool written all over it

  • She's a beauty Maddog. I like her all. Very striking design....
  • Thanks John, I needed another enamel lid reso as I sold the first one to Rod Wellington up in Canada. I went a little flashier on this one with some new parts mixed in with the old parts. The pup sounds amazing but is not really needed as it is VERY loud acoustically. I am going to start another as I really like the sound of this. I'll fret the next one. This one is headed to JunkStock.

  • Hey Easy Contry, if your refering to the reso it's the lid to an antique enamel "sloshpot" .

  • Linda likes this one too.

  • MISTER Maddog.  Wow!   Some great guitars on this AM.  Yours, Suspect Devices's and Tom Melton's grab me.   Make me want to grab them and run.   I think I can out run you.
