  james..thanks for the comment,,i measured both guitars and my distance is about 28'' ,however i can easily move the bridges but not the nut..will that makethem sound better? i am a novice, but keen to learn to make a better playing cbg..thanks again...bob.

  Nice CBG's, The Padrons have a nice sound too them. Make sure your bridge is set to the right length to scale.
  example 25 inch scale, should be 25" from nut to bridge, 12th fret should be 12.5" from nut and bridge.

  i rebuilt cbg#1 and built cbg#2,,both play very well.
