Question Maddog! I was just looking at your pics and see the holes you put in your amp using the grommets! Do I need these in my amp? I have the same or similar speaker set up as what you have in here (runs on a 9 volt battery). Here is the little box I am using. The inside measures 6"wide x 5 1/2 tall x 2 1/4" deep

You don't have to put them in if you don't want Shanna, I put em' in as it adds a little more low end to the sound. Plus it looks cool right? ;-)
