The "fret markers" were almost as tricky as the feathers. Those little strips of paper you get in Hershey's kisses provided the "fret" locations and some heart stickers from Hobby Lobby mark the 3,5, 7,9,12 etc frets. These stickers were not that great, I still had to glue them. It took usually 2-3 layers of "kisses" strips as well, they are like working with tissue paper and glue. Once I got them all on, learning from my "Evelyn" build and decoupage techniques, I gave the "frets" (and the cherry stain underneath) a few coats of spray varnish.
