Almost got it sanded down to bare wood all over. The person who threw 5 coats of paint over the factory stuff is not on my good side right now. Lol. I found my pups and bridge. Looking at about $170 for an m22n, an m22sd, and a bridge from stewmac that fits original specs.

    It was actually the old lady's call. I figured I could at least consider polyurethane over wood since I was taking all the paint off anyway.

    I have to admit that the guy who did it was pretty good with an airbrush. I just don't like his taste.  And I am a Chevy man, but I don't belong to any club.

    Thank you. I like the maple. It's about medium figured, buI think it will end up being pretty respectable looking.
