I’ll develop this beginning tomorrow. I’ll make a print top guitar of him for myself. I think Vern will build with it as well. If he likes it? :*)

  • be carefull on thinner tops . 

  • that's basicly what i do ..  some touch ups , some paint  etc .. but thats the base .. practice on scrap first , light wood is best .

  • Thanks guys! Vern, glad you like him Vern. I’m having fun with this guy! Uncle, i’ve Got my oil paints out. They give me strong color and depth. At first, it’s like drawing with a thin brush. Blue first, then red, then yellow. Then white. Tomorrow i’ll Repeat making greater contrast and stronger color. It takes about three layers to start looking finished. I’ll show the progress as I go.
