must try it sometime.Though the rod piezo I use on my Bourbon (right under the bridge inside the tin, squashed in between the neck and the tin) is very loud.
Its like a piezo on crack as it picks up the vibrations from the top of the tin not the strings but so much louder than a piezo..

Yep - had been wanting to try it... I have put in piezos as well for a direct comparision... and the coil it far superior.
Yes it does...he made a beleiver out of me...when i used a mag in my washboard build
