Two finished, two in the works

From bottom up:My second build completed! Beautiful Cohiba box from a friend at work, black lacquered maple through-neck with Paduak fretboard and saddle, nut and bridge from Wichita Sam, 50(!)mm piezo. sharkfin fret markers.Second from bottom:My first build. Great learning experience. Giving it to my sister as a tribute to our father, who was a master amateur woodworker. When he passed away three years ago, I lost all interest in woodworking and his tools sat idle until I found this site. Very emotional for me to hold his tools in my hands again. Thank you CBN.Third from bottom:"Gator". Red enameled box with alligator and "Colba since 1492" laser-etched in top. Got this box from a cigar box manufacturer in Miami - I believe it was a prototype for a customer that didn't come through: I've never seen another box similar to it (but I could be wrong). Headstock and tail shaped like alligator, will have toothpick frets and abalone markers. Tuner configuration will look like the alligator's feet. Amplification to be determined, may use old telephone earpiece.Top:Padron box with artwork found online laminated to box. Black lacquered maple neck with walnut fretboard and saddle, abalone dot markers offset on board and side markers. Will use 40mm computer fan grill painted black for soundhole cover, 27mm piezo.
