This is the second of these 12 volt tube boosters I put together. I used a power supply from a fried netgear router which provides a much better regulated power than the first one of these. This one sounds great with any piezo or magnetic pickup I've tried it with. Adds a great warmth to the tone with a very bluesy distortion when the gain is cranked up.
