This is what you see when the license plate is removed from the body.
The neck is braced across the body to make room for the resonator bowl in the lower section. It's hard to see in the photo but the cross bar was sanded to ensure it doesn't come in contact with the license plate. This pic was taken before the body was drilled and tapped with 1/4-20 holes for the brass bolts that secure the plate, they go through the triangular tabs attached to the inside of the box.
