I repaired the sound hole which was cut into on each side for the previous pickup. The brace inside was broke and caved in above the sound hole. I glued and clamped it back. The Tiger Maple scratch plates brace the top also. Now the neck is solid though angled down from the norm. It works as a lap steel just fine.
