yes I thought of the external supply. I made one from a 6 x AA battery holder and a DC jack for my pedals as the only power supplies I have are too noisy.
However, I like the idea of a self-contained cute little hexagonal box with the battery inside. The 6mm jack in the photo will fit, but I may put 3.5mm in and out jacks as they will be neater. There's nothing else to go on the board except input, output and battery leads so it should all fit fine. I wonder if it will need cooling vents ???
U can ditch the battery & install a 3.5 millimeter DC jack for power wich will give u tons of room without the battery? This is a common practice with all the micro pedals they make these days.
Will give great sound through bigger speaker. It's effwctively the same as a Smokey Amp where they manage to fit the lot into a ciggie box. Just putting the bits together before soldering to see it if it all fits. Then a funky paint job to finish it off.
Just enough room for all the parts. Might use 3.5mm switched input jack to save space. And similar for headphone output. I wish someone made a smaller 9v battery though
