To Uncle John- I agree the neck is an eye catcher. I was VERY temped to copy; but I'm starting get a few ideas with for my own 'Thunder' build involving lightning bolts ; ) . Sometimes it just takes seeing what someone else did to spark some inspiration- thats why my favorite part of this site is cruizen' the photos! Thanks for posting, Mr. Swing
That's stinkin' awesome! I started to build a bass out of the same box but changed directions and now don't know what to do with the box. Guess I gotta put on my thinking cap. Really like what you did- hope that'll inspire me to come up w/ something original and cool!

The Axe is the same piece of wood the rest of the neck was made from. Just carved out the shape and painted it with the black and grey.
