Paul , Thanks for the comments.. About a 'tabacco stick ", YEARS ago ( I'm 57 ) they would harvest the tobacco and take it to a barn where it was tied to these sticks and hung in a barn to be heat cured . It would stay in the barn for about 3 days , then it was unstrung , placed on large sheets and carried to market and sold ... So these sticks have years of heat curing and tobacco drippings on them , giving them an almost golden color .. The picture really doesn't do it justice ... It turned out real nice ...
I like your canjos, I have some cans, but I don't get to it. Can you explain "tabacco stick"? This is the second forum I've on to day that talked about "tabacco stick". I;m from the NW. Don't understand.
