  oh okay I used a sink strainer on my last build and yeah it worked well.

  I didn't think my little Cuesta Ray box (7-3/4" x 3-7/8" x 1-5/8") was going to have any sound at all, but the stainless steel sink strainer resonator made it come alive!  Go for it!

  lol didnt say I didnt want the La Carona.... just didnt want to cut into it if its going to make an average sound. okay got the point - thanks.

  Too small?  Check out my "Junior" build:

  Too deep?  Make a Kalimba.

  Too large? Build a bass.

  Seriously, if you don't want it, I'll take that La Carona box off your hands!
