The top is now glued on, the piezo is in place and the input jack plate is done. The walnut finger board is glued on and the tail is almost ready to get screwed on.

Yes it is, I just got my roof replaced and there was a bit of flashing left over, I folded the end where the strings go through 3 times and work hardened it, so it is about 6 layers thick there. I do worry about the copper stretching under the string tension but it will only be a 3 string so I think I will be ok there. The jack plate is also copper. I am thinking about a copper pick guard as well. This thing might just end up going steampunk before I'm done with it.
