Ukulele Ray's creation of the Fender® Lunchbox-A-Lele with built in preamp and accompanying thermos amp brought Ray to the attention of Fender® Musical Instruments, later becoming Fender's fist ukulele artist, joining their "A" list of legendary artists along side Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Beck and more.
