Cuban Mahogany, it's also the native species here in south Florida, most of these trees were cut down in WWII to build PT boats. Most of the Lignum Vite was cut down in WWII also to provide bearings for submarines. Too bad they didn't re-plant but it's understandable, they had other things on their mind.
