Didnt touch the box as it was already nicely faded and worn, but aged a p bass pickup to match. Thanks for all the suggestions - wood stain and cig ash did the trick in the end!

awesome looking build brother.i still beat ya putin up the pics but yours is a way cooler looking build and i cheated by using a neck from another build.haaaaaaaaaaaa so you are the real winner here. great job ben.
