Sound like this via a smoke usa circuit,mounted in the old Tannoy which can be a head or a small practise amp and plenty loud enough from a PP3 battery ! ... but wait till I get the valve lunchbox in the back then it should be sorted ;>)
I like the Ruby amp better because it has a good filter at the front of the circuit and the JFET helps give it a Fender Champ sound. If you put the input cap(.047) on a 2-way switch, you can put a .1 cap on the other side to simulate a Fender Bassman amp.
