Got one just like this (with the pickguard - unfortunately, the floral design is pretty much worn off). Keep thinking about selling it but I can't seem to do it...
Even though original components would be nice, not necessary, Im happy that the body/components r original.
Minus the pick guard, would've like to had that but can be remedied too.
I figured it had to do with the inserts outside diameter, however not a concern, much to choose from nowadays.
Its value to me is its feel, great neck size and light guitar.
Havent figured out which type of tuners to put on yet, tried my ones I had purchased from CB Gitty for my cbg's, with the inserts but they were loose so will probably get some from LMI or Stewmac.

loose ? im thinking they had the popular tuner ferrrl inserts of the time . most likely white. cream plastic .
