I like the suitcase bass drum. I like the sound. Plus it's so anti - top 40 radio.
Yesterday I taped a piezo to a plastic coffee can that I use for practicing drum rhythms. It sounds OK through the amplifier, not great but I'd like to try it with a band, see if the concept works.
