My Latest Delusion: Suitcase Bass Drum! Um-Hmmm. Vintage suitcase (found last weekend in the Sheffield dump) mounted to a hand-made maple & threaded rod frame that, together with the pedal, easily detach and fit handily inside the suitcase (along with all my cables, DI's & stomp boxes). Sounds pretty good for an old thumper, and yes, it is set-up with a piezo pick-up to run through the PA. It shall go to de islands wit' me and everyone that hears it will want one and I shall become very wealthy and never come back. Some might say I'm already gone.
