Strut

Here's the Oak and Spruce strut I made to go up under the soundboard. The pickup is going to go up through the middle of the strut, the same direction as the ribs, and then through the soundboard. I have never installed a pickup before- likely I'll need to really thin the strut out where the pickup goes through?
