I was wondering how much spring-back I would have, so I released my teardrop hoop from its forming-rack and all claps and this is the result. I suspect that with time and humidity, the wood will eventually loose more shape. So, to maintain the teardrop shape I "store" the piece with a block of wood between the two hoop ends which are then clamped down in two places.
