Thanks Rick, rebuilding is the only way i'll ever afford any of these classics. Speed Demons go high on ebay. I think you gain empathy for your guit. by going over every aspect of her. I start to fall in love. Or maybe it's Spring.
I just took a couple of shots of the snow for mood altering for those in better circumstances. At least we have our guits to pick..... Spring must be somewhere? .....
Thanks JP, I'll have to fall out of love first, but maybe a Harmony Rocket will come along... that's what makes me weak in the knees. Ya this ironwood is of a big size even around here. I got it when i traded a bunch of cherry for some sawing. It was thrown in with the cherry i got back. I've been using the cherry for a lot of my builds for plates and covers. I've still got one piece of ironwood to go. We got a huge snow last night. Power out from about 3 to 6am. When will winter end?
Holy sheite Dave! It's perfect! That ironwood is gorgeous. I've never seen an ironwood tree bigger than about 5" diameter around here. I'm gonna start saving my money right now so in case it can ever be pried from your hands, I'll be ready!!!!!! ;-}}

Yeah I had to blast through two foot deep drifts this morning too. Winter really, really is getting tedious this year!
