I realized you couldn't really see the absurd body shape in the other pics. I'm gonna cut that bolt to fit yet.

     I've made two short scale stick dulcimers. I really like them with a plastic high string. It frets more easily than metal and while it loses a little of that chime that they usually have, the ring of it is a great sort of sweet and mellow.
