    Not sure if I can pop the top off without damaging the box.

    No, I was thinking more along the lines of a down 'n dirty kinda thing. I'd really like to keep the Dirty Rat brand on the box. But unless I flip it over and don't have the neck go all the way through, I'm not sure how I'll accomplish that. If I flip it over then the Liga Privada lion emblem won't be on the font of the guitar which I'd like to have...too bad I'm not a south paw.
