Here is a shot of my first sewing machine bobbin pickup. Its unpotted and I kinda guessed at the amount of wraps, I didnt want to fill it up because I used rare earth magnets. Its not pretty but I made it on a cluttered work bench...more a test of the mechanics...

Thanks Joe...I used the sound hole cutout just to get it wired up so I can hear it, its still unmounted. The bass pickup is a full wrap and its mounted directly on the box. I threw the bass together quick and its really more of a novelty. Here is a link to the vid of the pickup in the video.
That's just great man. It's all mounted on a cut out from a sound hole, isn't it? Way cool! I got those little wood circles floatin all over the place, hadn't figured out a use for them yet. Bet that sucker sounds awesome in that bass!
