  • Thanks Uncle John. After laying out the sound holes I used a Forsner drill bit to drill the holes and then jig saw close to the lines. I cleaned everything up with a Dremel with a sanding drum bit sanding to the layout lines. It really is easier than it sounds and only too me an hour and a half. I used a piece of plywood under the luan top so there isn't much tear-out when I drilled out the end holes.

  • That has a nice look to it.  Vintage and modern all at once.  How do you cut those sound holes?
