The electronics are being worked out. I used a 20mm piezo disk with a 1 MOhm volume pot. It turns out that the 'sweet spot" for the disk was to be glued directly to the bottom of the lid, under the bridge, and not on the neck, as shown in the picture. This opened up the sound in a huge way!
