Inside view. I like to use a rod piezo wired directly to a jack. The screens inside of the F holes are held by Hot glue.I always sign and date my builds inside the box, usually under the neck. By gluing the wood blocks in the corners of the top inside, I can screw in from the bottom of the box to secure it closed without the screws being visible from the Front.

  • Great idea about the corner blocks. I will surely use this idea on my next build
  • Great looking inlays.

  • Looks well done and thanks for all the info. I do disc piezos like Doug, but may want to try your method.
  • Rich, I like going directly from the jack to the piezo (disc in my case) too! Amps have plenty of controls, so once I have the instrument dialed in, I’m ready to go. I’m not one to keep fiddling, I would rather play.
