This is my favorite part of building CB guitars. I use a combination of rasps and then sandpaper wrapped around plastic tubes.
Definitely should be able to keep a grip on it. I take it this won't be a "slide" guitar?
Wow you really rough 'em up! I always enjoy the transition of angular piece of wood to elegantly shaped neck :)
