Two coats of linseed oil gives the top a really nice sheen, and a cool feel under the right hand. As you can guess, I've just taken delivery of a metre of 8mm bronze threaded bar, and with brass dome heads it looks the business. This is also the very first build on which I've used corners- had to buy a new hammer, I did.

Hey John- Funny you should pick that one. The previous dozen or so all had boxes made by me- all six sides. That there is five bits of 3mm poplar ply and a Gitty top- and the moment I got it strung and tuned I just KNEW it was my go-to acoustic.

Yup on the dome heads. Sharp. Those corners look good. The Maddog, one of my fave builders goes so far as to use corners on the bottoms too. As an avowed cheap-ass, I usually don't use any.
