27" scale, and actual bass strings- the D and G, so it seemed natural to tune it DG. Nice resonance- I think it would hold its own in an acoustic session- but this is not a keeper either. I'm not actually a bass player, and I've already got a u-bass and a monstrous two-string Cooper original, which I'm thinking of fretting and loading up with the other two strings. Any reasonable offer considered...

    The 30mm neck is just that little bit easier to fret- about 14.2857% easier- so the pressure is off a bit. I still hurry too much getting the strings on though- could've sanded off the edges on this, but no: had to hear what it sounded like. Ah well, perhaps age will bring maturity...
