I finally broke down and bought some new sandpaper yesterday- that sure saves a lot of time and aggravation! Using 100 grit for the rough work. One of my spruce posts was just a touch long, and it was making the soundbox rock, but she's level now. I set it on the tablesaw for this, it's the flattest surface around here!
