pure and simple is the ones i like too brother. my last 3-stringer was similar to this except the scale is different. i like 3-stringers more than the rest,all the 4-stringers i have has the two bottom strings tuned the same.haaaaaaaaaa
I just finished this up for a friend of mine. He's in Rotary and requested it to present as an award to some big shot in Rotary who is a collector of stringed instruments. I simply drew the Rotary logo on with a sharpie.
This basic construction design has become my 'standard' 3-string build.
Fretless 21 inch scale, thru-the-box poplar neck and a notched Navarro Presidente box with the top thinned w-a-ay down on a belt sander.
