They are sweet looking. If I didn't know better, I'd say they used a urethane paint on them. The shine almost like Imron. They'll make nice looking electrics, that's for sure.
I'm thinking of using one with a 1/4" aluminum fretboard I'm working on. Dang thing will probably come in at around 17 lbs when it's all said and done. Not sure if that's a good thing or not ;)

Definitely great boxes, thick and heavy, I had 3, used one last week with a dowel neck
And I painted and applied a graphic to one yesterday (both for the same client, didn't want 2 of the same box)
That leaves one more left to go wild on when I have some time!
