I used the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple and Supportable) system in designing it . . . This design approach is proving to be quite robust . . . I've had some dog bowl resonators using this approach strung up for nearly 6 months now under full string tension with no increase in string height above the last fret (the necks were/are all made of 3 part laminated popular wood - so we're not talking exotic hardwoods here - and they all (so far) function just fine . . .
