thanks for the comments,folks,this was a new idea,it worked out good,to get the brainbox to resonate freely i had to shave about 1/16 of an inch of the wood in the cigarbox lid except at all 4 corners and then shave part of the neck except at attachment points.then i noticed the increase in volume from the brain box.so the only thing touching the aluminum brain box at its maximun vibration point is the bridge.it has good metal resonator tone,for its size.
