Reso 4 string almost done

I went all reso and no box on this one kind of as an experiment.This is a padron box and is he smallest box I could squeeze one of my cones into it is 7 inches wide and I had to carve out the sides a little on the inside to give the nuts that hold the cone down room to squeeze in.This is the box I had the hole cut in for my reso how to video a few days ago. It's a big pic click on it to enlarge it.Also I didn't use one drop of stain on that neck I did on the box but there isn't one drop of stain on that neck it's all rubbed on black spray paint Ha Ha Ha! (and if your wondering how I got those rings in the sound holes I used a hole saw but I didn't let it go all the way thru just enough to route out that ring.) that should tide yall off on secret old lowe tricks for a while.

    I'll have to try the spray paint trick. Did you spray it on a piece of cloth first?
