Iknocked up a 'quickie' biscuit tin build featuring old Holden cars [red lion motif] as a platform for testing an 'inducer'type pick up,that a few of us have been working on.[See Wayfinders,'Alumitone.how do they make it?' forum entry for more details].I tidied up one of my early attempts and used it,now this pup,the 'chantilly coppertone' was clear,sharp,and noiseless on a cbg when testing it,when i put it into the biscuit [cookie] tin,due to the fact the pup is reading the soundboard,and not so much the strings,it read the WHOLE tin,making it very much like a piezo re handling noise,still chrystal clear sound,but a lot added,suggesting to me these would work great in a reso mounted in a wooden box to stop the microphonics effect,feedback was almost impossible to get on the cbg,but with the biscuit tin,it came on a bit about 2 feet from the amp speaker
